7:13 AM I`m sure you know about Ondoy, right?
Damn storm that brought trauma, troubles and slight fear to everyone..Well, it didn`t really affect us that much but that doesn`t mean I don`t have to care. Like duuuh.
So, my week was filled with voluteer stuff. Starting with Ateneo, went there and helped out and stuff. Next day, went to UP to donate and help out. Then these past few days, I helped my relatives that were affected.
It just goes to show that no one can avoid these things. Be it a rich person or poor person. A celebrity or an ordinary citizen. We can get affected really bad. All we need to do is keep our faith, hope for the best and help each other out as much as we can. :>
At times, people wonder why these things happen, why these events have to occur or why we can`t just live peacefully. Life isn`t like that. It`s not served on a silver platter or a delicious cake. It involves hardship, sadness, angst and sorrow. It`s unpredictable and nothing is guaranteed.
In my opinion, these things happen because people lose direction. They forget what`s important, what actually matters and what we really need. It isn`t the materialistic stuff that you own or how much money you have or how popular. It`s family, friends, love and all the itsy bitsy things in life that make it so memorable. :)
